Beautiful 10-day tour of the four imperial cities of Morocco with departure and return to Marrakech accompanied by our driver Brahim (three couples with a nine-seater van Ford), very professional, always punctual and prepared in the various issues addressed and concerning the various sites, who recommended us at appropriate times traditional restaurants always up to scratch, especially for the surprising grill of lamb. Morocco surprised us for the diversity and beauty of the landscapes and for the composure and courtesy of the people we came in contact with (especially the staff of the hotels and riads). We had asked for luxury hotels and were satisfied, especially for the beautiful Kasbah Tamsna in Ouarzazate, all with really good breakfasts and dinners. Very nice experience in the desert of Erg Chebbi.The only flaws were in the Riads Perlekech in Marrakech (Aladin room with creaky bed structure at the slightest movement that kept those who slept there awake all night) and Riad Braya (ground floor room with door directly to the lobby).

Simply wonderful trip for the places visited, the movie landscapes and the many contacts with deep, resilient and welcoming people. Ali’ organized everything perfectly: beautiful Riads, prepared guides, magnificent itinerary. Very well organized tour. Starting from Tangier, they took us to Tétouan, Chefchaouen, Fes, Midelt, desert, Dades valley, Ouarzazate and ended up in Marrakech. We decided to organize our 9 days tour in Morocco through Evaneos, followed by Sara, always very present in the updates of the trip, who relied on this local agency. For us we had a mini van equipped with fridge and Wi-Fi and Said was our driver and travel companion, since without him we could not visit small local realities and eat in typical Moroccan restaurants at very low prices. A really bubbly person, caring and always present, as he was interested daily that everything went well, as well as promptly updating us on the times of the meetings. The guides in Marra, Ait Ben Addou and Amridil all good, while the one in Fes was not, fast and superficial when it came to monuments and architecture and very, too focused on the handicraft part, practically only took us to see the various handicrafts leaving us at the mercy of the vendors and,finally, he ended the tour in front of a restaurant, chosen by him, and ordered lunch for us, without asking us explicitly...we did not like this at all! We went from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga Desert, on the road our friendly and professional guide LAHCEN brought us to beautiful and hidden places, for example Ouzoud waterfalls, Dades gorge exc. We joined an private day tour to Essauoria through Viator which is operated by Adevnture Morocco Tours . The tour fits the description. There is punctual pick up at hotel. We went to see goats on argan tree , making of argan oil , and spend free time in town around 3hours . The driver Ali fartass is nice , and give information to us about Morocco during the car trip . The only regret was Essauoria is too great ,and we wish we can stay longer . I will suggest traveller with limited time to join this tour , but if u have more time , consider to stay longer in Essauoria.It is a great town .

Our driver was great, arrived on time, great local knowledge. We drove through the valleys with the view of the Atlas mountains, stopping off at points of interest. He answered all our questions and stopped off at a market to help us buy some spices when we said we wanted some. Overall it was a great day and I would recommend

We have been avid travelers over the past decade having visited over 30 countries and without a doubt Morocco has found a special place in our hearts. A key factor to make this one of the most memorable trips of our lives was the excellent support of "Adventure Morocco Tours" in putting together a custom route with all the places we wanted to visit and photograph. We went on a day trip from Marrakech to see the Kasbah of Telouet and Ait Beh Haddou. Even though is a long way from the city it was worth it because it’s beautiful! Plus our guide was super nice and kind.

Thank you, Mr. Ali and thank you, our friend and brother KAMAL, for a wonderful trip of 12 days exploration of Morocco, experiencing fine points of the local culture, amazing architecture inside and out, most wonderful food (highly recommend for anyone to try out local roadside BBQ, most particularly sheep ribs, as well if you are lucky boiled mussels and snails - as Anthony Bourdain used to say - the best food that can be found is not at fancy restaurants but at the speciality road sides where the selection is limited but what is offered is the best there is. Kamal was truly wonderful as a driver, guide and advisor. He was being protective and offered priceless insights into local culture, giving us very honest and extremely helpful hints as what, where and how to do in Morocco, where culture clashes are high and expected, and tribes and peoples are multicultural and so very different from place to place. Having experienced the North, the South, the West and the East, having traveled thousands of miles across the country, the Atlas Mountains in their many forms, Rif Mountains, the Sahara Desert, we may safely say we have acquired a taste of Morocco and for Morocco. Will we visit again - not soon, but if we do it will be with AMT and Kamal as our guide. Word of advice - if you travel in the winter temperatures in the desert are extreme. Try staying in local Riads rather than hotels - most are full of unexpected architectural treasures visible only from the inside, as from the outside most Moroccan Médina houses look mostly the same and very plain. And do try street foods, you will not be disappointed.

We have just taken a 3 day private tour from Marrakech to Merzouga with Adventure Morocco Tours and had a excellent experience. We highly recommend our tour guide Ali and his colleagues (of whom we met several at stops throughout the tour) to anyone considering a tour in Morocco. We were fortunate to learn a lot about Moroccan and Berber culture and were taught Arabic and Berber phrases. Ali was an exceptionally skilled driver which is not to be underestimated as the tour to the desert involves large driving distances and varied terrain. Ali went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and getting the most from our experience. We never felt like we had to do anything or were pushed into anything and Ali tailored the trip to our interests. He entertained us and made the tour very special. We just wish we had more time and could have done a 4 day tour and had more time. There are many tour companies offering similar tours but Adventure Morocco Tours is a trustworthy, safe and fun company that we highly recommend and would use again when we return to Morocco. Ali picked us up from our hotel and was full of beans and armed with information about the history of Morocco which we found fascinating. Ali’s knowledge of the local area was second to none and he was really engaging and interesting throughout our tour. Recently I went to Morocco with a friend. We found our guide through trip advisor. His name is Ali Bourki. He picked up us up in Fez, we went to the desert and then through the Atlas Mountains to Marrakesh. He was such a fun guide! He created a package which matched our desires. He was very open to our questions and insightful about history and culture. He loves his country and is proud of the heritage. He has a great sense of humor and compassion. I recently traveled to Morocco with my friends (4 people) and enjoyed 9 days visiting multiple cities from Tangier to Chouen to Sahara to Marrakech, among other places. Kamal was our driver (oficial tittle), guide and friend. We learned so much about their culture and visited historical sites. Our tour began in Tangier where we were greeted by our driver, Kamal. First and foremost, I’ll admit right here that Kamal helped to make this vacation one of the best I’ve ever experienced. He is a very warm, friendly, and overall genuine person who makes you feel like family. He is also very receptive and willing to go the extra mile to make his customers happy. If I’m ever in Morocco again, I will definitely want to hang out with him for another good conversation over tea.The tour advanced through Chefchaouen, Midelt, up the Atlas mountains, into the Sahara, and eventually finishing up the tour in Marrakesh. Again, Kamal was always there for us, and always ready to answer our questions. The selection of Riads (hotels/B&Bs) were mostly exclusive, inviting, and beautiful to say the least. My friends and I went on a cross-country tour of Morocco the first week of November. From the very beginning the tour company was extremely helpful and professional. They answered COUNTLESS emails and questions I sent for months before even booking the tour. Once we arrived in Tangier our driver KAMAL was there to meet us.From the very beginning he made our trip fun, educational, spontaneous, and completely unforgettable. Without him I don’t even know what would have happened. We drove from Tangier to Fes out to Merzouga (camel rides in the desert to camp out - glam camp of course) and then finished in Marrakesh. It was a long trek and our driver come all made it so much fun!! He answered all of our questions (even the innapropriate ones) and had us laughing nonstop.Every day was something new and exciting, and KAMAL made sure to cater to OUR interests - versus taking us on a preplanned tour every day. We wanted to experience the Moroccan hamam and he took us to the best place where we were stripped and scrubbed and treated to a local experience. I overall COMPLETELY recommend this tour. Ali Bourki was the best guide we could have ever imagined! He picked us up in Fez and drove us to the desert for an overnight experience in the Sahara desert in a glamorous tent —riding camels there at sunset. Then we went on to beautiful Dades for an overnight and then over the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakesh. Ali is well informed and proud of his Berber culture. We listened to Berber music in his car and asked him a million questions. He made our trip to Morocco one that we will absolutely never forget!

We booked a 3 day/2 nights trip with pickup from our riad in Fes to Marrakech. Definitely was one of our highlights of our Morocco roundtrip. Especially our driver Ali was great, told us lot's about the Moroccan culture & people. He always made the extra mile & made it really special for us. Trip is worth the money as you will see a lot of the country, Atlas mountains, desert etc.

We were a group of 3 girls between 23 and 29 years and did a 3 day tour with him. He picked us up from our hotel and spent the full 3 days with us.We spent one night in the sahara in a very cute tent camp for only the three of us and some locals who cooked very good local food for dinner and breakfast.The other night was at a really nice hotel with a great panoramic view.Our personal highlight was the visit at his family's house. His mother and his sisters welcomed us at their home, painted us henna tattoos and served us cookies, tea and a moroccain pizza. And this pizza was one of the best pizzas we've ever tried in our lifes!!We would really recommend a trip with Ali as a guide. He has a comfortable car which he is driving very safely, speaks seven (I guess) languages fluently and informs you the whole trip about Moroccos landscape, its people, culture etc. Whenever you ask him a question, he has an answer ;) And if you wanna have some silent time during the car ride, Ali respects that as well.Whenever we had a special wish, he made it happen only minutes after and there was not even one moment in the whole trip, where we didn't feel safe, which is really important in our opinion when you are travelling in a girls group.

We had an amazing 3-day desert trip from Fes to Marrakesch with our guide driver KAMAL. We booked the tour some weeks in advance and the booking process and communication with the company was easy and reliable. On the starting day of our tour, Kamal picked us up at our Riad in Fes and we headed towards Merzouga. On our way we passed the Middle and High Atlas and admired the beautiful landscape. After some stops and a quite long drive we arrived in Merzouga where we rode two camels to get to our berber tents in the desert. We had a wonderful night with thousands of stars and woke up early to see the sun rise. The next day we drove towards Boumalne and passed amazing mountain landscapes and two beautiful gorges. On the last day we visited Quarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou before we arrived in Marrakesh. All in all, the tour was perfect because we saw so many wonderful places and Kamal did everything to make our trip marvellous: He is a very sympathetic guy, was always in a good mood, told us a lot about Morocco's culture and the places we visited, stopped whereever we wanted, entertained us with some nice music and made the trip an amazing experience we will never forget! Kamal served as the driver for me and my girlfriend Jasmine on a 5-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech in late August / early September 2018. Getting Kamal as our driver was one of the best things that happened to us in Morocco. Kamal has that special knack for making anyone feel at ease. When he first picked up us, he told us we should think of him as our “brother.” Sure enough, after a couple of hours, we were joking and bantering like siblings. Another quality we appreciated about Kamal was his willingness to customize the trek to our needs. If you want to make less or more stops, you can. If you have a special request, Kamal will make it happen. Before we hopped on camels for our night in the Sahara, we wanted to take a quick swim. Kamal found a dar (guest house) and was able to get the manager to open up early, so we could lounge at the pool. We can’t recommend Kamal and his service highly enough. He treats all his customers like family. He’s funny, kind-hearted, knowledgeable, and has great driving skills. No matter where you’re going or what you’re seeing in Morocco, you’ll be glad Kamal was your guide.

Our two night tour to and from Fes was an incredible experience of a lifetime! I highly recommend going with Adventure Morocco Tours. This is a great, professional company that cares about their customers. Adventure Morocco Tours gets a 10 out of 10 but I have to say that our driver Kamal makes it an 11! From the beginning of our trip, Kamal said to ask or tell him anything because we are “like family.” Within a few short hours, I can honestly say I felt that to be true. He was always checking on us and took excellent care of us! As two female travelers, we always felt not only safe but completely at ease and comfortable wherever we went. My friend and I spent 3 days with Kamal going to and from Fes and to the Sahara desert. I had read in previous posts that people felt like family with their tour guide and I thought “yea right” but truly truly this is how we felt with Kamal. I felt as though I was spending 3 days visiting with my brother, who lived in another country and was showing his country to me. Kamal, you were wonderful and you gave us the trip of a lifetime. The company is wonderful, the hotels were great, the camels were so cool, but Kamal is the one who made our trip amazing. Without him, and with the same company, everything would have been great and we would have been very very happy. But with Kamal, we (two female travelers) always felt safe, always felt thought of and always felt comfortable. If my sister or mother was coming alone to Morocco, I would send them to Kamal. If I ever come back to Morocco, I will contact Kamal. Kamal was always thoughtful. He was easy going and helpful. We asked him so many questions about his life, his family and his culture and he answered everything openly. We had hours and hours of good conversation. I truly feel I know more about the Berber culture and Moroccan culture than any of the other countries I have visited.The whole trip was wonderful and well planned. We always felt safe. We visited on a big holiday so everything was closed and we were able to eat lunch with Ali’s (the owners) family. This was another highlight. Going to his house and meeting his family was wonderful. We did not feel like tourists, we felt like guests. I have done a lot of traveling and done many sorts of tours similar to this... some 1 day, some up to 6, and this was the best one I have ever done. It was one of the best experience of our life. As soon as we met our guide Kamal, we created a great relationship like we had known each other for a long time. During the trip, we felt like friends even like brothers and we shared a lot of adventures. He accepted every requests we asked. We started our trip in Fes and then we crossed all Morocco to go in the Merzouga desert. We felt so impressed by the wonderful places we visited. Every time he let us met different people and tried all the delicious food of this fantastic country. All the Riads were very organized and at the same time so simple. We enjoyed the real life of the Berber people and after riding a camel for 2 hours we slept under a speechless sky full of stars. Together with a friend of mine we choose a 3-days desert tour. Moha, our guide, picked us up at our riad in Marrakesch on time. He showed us a lot of beautiful places. As he speaks English, French and other languages fluently as well as German, we could ask him all questions we had and his answers were really informative. As it is very hot in Morocco this time of the year we were really happy about the air conditioned car. We did a two and a half day tour with Kamal from Fes to Marrakech. Kamal is a fantastic guide and driver, with thoughtful and helpful insights and answers to our many questions. He is truly a professional and we would highly recommend him. Specifically, when our flight to Fes got rerouted to Tangier and arrived at midnight, we messaged them in a panic, but Kamal drove 5 hours from Fes to Tangier to pick us up and drive us back to Fes, arriving at 5am, all for a reasonable price given the situation. Ali our guide was fantastic and he led us on the adventure of a lifetime through the Sahara He was so knowledgeable and willing to answer in great depth our probing questions about the culture, people,geography, history, and random curiosities. From Australia we organised through Ali, a road trip over three days from Fez to Marrakech via the Sahara Desert. His suggestions and organisation were excellent. We started at Marrakech; stopped at Ouarzazate, Zagora, Mhamid, Erg Chigaga (the dunes), Foum Zguid; and ended at Agadir. Our highlight was the off road trip from Mhamid to the sand dunes at Erg Chigaga. Along the way, we stopped for a fresh-cooked lunch at an oasis before making our way to the camp at the dunes. Photographs of the dunes are impressive, but the scale must be experienced in person! After watching the sunset over the dunes, we celebrated with a live performance by local band Daraa Tribes (Ali arranged a live band to play in the middle of the desert!). The weather was perfect (not windy) so we slept on the dunes and woke up to the sunrise. Simply amazing!The entire experience felt like a road trip with great friends. Ali took great care of us, all we had to do was take in the experience.I came to Morocco not knowing what to expect and open for new experiences. The only travel company to use in Morocco. A colleague of mine organized a group tour for five from Marrakech to the Sahara desert. Ali was our guide and Youseff the driver. We all had a transformative experience, watching the sunset over the sand dunes, an 8 person Twarig band and sleeping in the tallest sand dune under the stars is an experience I’ll never forget. I saw things on this trip I never thought I would see. Ali is so knowledgeable, his love for history and language makes this the only tour company to use. Adventure Morocco Tours arranged a custom tour for us (2 people) beginning in Tangier and ending in Marrakech, calling in at Chefchaouen, Fes, Erg Chebbi, Dades Gorge, Ouarzazate, and many other places. Note Morocco is not a small country, and this tour involved many long drives; we used a comfortable 4x4. They were flexible in customizing the itinerary and the accommodations were very nice with lots of character and we were allowed to preview and approve prior to arriving in Morocco. Ali, the owner, was easy to communicate with and prompt in his responses. Even when there was a minor miscommunication, Ali went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the outcome. We would highly recommend Adventure Morocco Tours. Our driver Kamal (note Morocco is very fussy about the label of driver vs guide) was excellent: he speaks English well, is a safe driver and was conscientious about locking the vehicle with our things inside. He is good natured and chatty, and was eager to share information about Morocco and its culture and traditions as we went. He took us to many small places to eat and get the “locals” experience and avoided concentrations of other tourists whenever possible. He was sensitive to what we wanted and went out of way to make sure we got it. He advocated the best price for us whenever we were interested in purchasing even small things like water, scarves or dates. We thought Kamal was exceptional. A 5+ star. He and AMT seemed genuinely concerned for us to have a great trip, and they were successful!

My friend and I just returned from a three day desert tour with Kamal. It was an unforgettable experience; we'd recommend it to everyone! Kamal was an awesome tour guide (and now friend!). He's super fun to hang out with -- we had a blast talking and singing with him in the car (he has great taste in music). He's also incredibly kind-- he always went out of his way to help us in any way he could. At each accomodation, he always made sure we had everything we needed; for example, I'm a vegetarian and he always made sure to talk with each place in advance to make sure they'd prepare a vegetarian option for me. We had a day trip to Chefchaouen and loved it. The booking was really simple and moderately priced. We both loved our driver Kamal! We made a 3 days trip starting from Fes arriving to Marrakesh. We visited many beautiful villages and saw several amazing landscapes. The dromedary riding and the night spent in a tent in the desert was something we will never forget. Our guide, Camal, was really nice. He showed us a lot of interesting spots and introduced us to the Moroccan lifestyle and culture. We spent the second night in a typical berber Riad. We found Adventure Morocco Tours in Tripadvisor and decided to contact them for our trip from Fes to Marrakech; from the very beginning Alì was very helpful and "flexible" to adjust the standard tour to our wishes (we wanted to visit Chefchaouen too). Everything was very well organized, from the pick-up at the airport until the end. Hassan (Lahcen) was our driver and guide along the road: very nice guy, always smiling and explaining many things about the Moroccan and Berber culture. He is a careful and safe driver. Aziz was our guide in Fes (very nice gentlemen); he showed us the medina and some wonderful buildings. The riad was excellent. After the visit in Chefchaouen (unfortunately with rain) we went to Volubilis, an historical roman site, and later to Meknes where Said (our great guide) showed us the wonders of this imperial capital. Then we took the road to the desert, passing Ifrane (the Moroccan Swiss), the forest with monkeys, the medium Atlas. Finally we arrived to Erfoud and Merzouga. We took our camels and spent the night in a Berber tent in the desert. It was awasome to see the colours of sunset and sunrise ! Then we took the road through the stone desert, where both La Marathon des Sables and the original Paris-Dakar took place several times. This is out of the standard turistic tours, and we enjoyed it very much. Hassan and Alì organized for us a nice lunch in the desert under a tree with a Berber "pizza" and we met some nomad children. After the desert we visited the Dades Valley, the Todra cliffs, the Roses valley, and reached Ouarzazate (the Moroccan Hollywood). Finally we went to Ait Ben Haddou and reached our final destination: Marrakech, with its famous square. We want to thank Alì, Hassan, Aziz, Said and Hicham for the very nice taste of Morocco they gave us: it was so nice to listen to the explanations of the traditional Berber culture and the influence of the Arabic one. Nice riads as accomodations, good moroccan food were part of the brilliant organization of our tour. Our 12 days on a personalized tour of Morocco was absolutely fantastic. No request was too much trouble and Ali, the owner, provides an honest, friendly, punctual and reliable service. Language is never a problem, as he is fluent in 9 languages. Furthermore, he shares his infinite knowledge of the Moroccan history with great passion. My husband and I have travelled extensively and we prefer to book our tours with companies in the country we visit. We feel very lucky to have found Mr. Moha's company (Ksour Voyages Day Tours). Right from the start, our communications via emails were very professional and answered all of our questions. We were extremely pleased with all of the tours we booked in Morocco (Fez tours, Fez to Marrakesh desert tour, Casablanca/Rabat). Although there are many small stories, the satisfaction level of the whole trip was very high. It may have included the melancholy of the last trip while living abroad. I had planned all past trips, but since Morocco was unknown, I joined the tour for the first time. What we were lucky was that we could meet a good driver. He understands the Japanese well and respected us. We also respect him. I can not deny that some Japanese tourists who do not understand such a thing, I am sorry. He responded in good faith to our question which lives in Morocco and can only be answered to him who is a religion. It is difficult for me to visit again, but those planning to visit, please use this company and request Houssin-san.

We spent 11 days travelling with Ali and his brother Abdoul in the southern region of Morocco. Our experience with them was great. Ali speaks many languages and knows very well almost every corner of his Country. They are reliable drivers and having them to drive their 4x4 jeep gave us the chance to see many things different from the usual touristic tours. All the riads and hotels we slept in where very very nice, comfortable and clean. Ali is really open to all sorts of propositions and willing to answer every tipe of questions on his Country. Our itinerary was Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, Fint Oasis,part of the Dades Valley, the desert of Erg Chebbi with one night in a camp, the Todra gorges, we did a two day trekking in the Rose Valley (really awsome), and after that we went down the High Atlas trough the saffron region of Taliouine up to the Anti-Atlas to Tafraout near the beautiful oasis of Ait Mansour. After that we went up the Atlantic coast to Essaouira and back to Marrakech. My suggestion is to study very well your itinerary and the things you want to see and do, considering the time you have and that travelling long distances will take longer then usual, because roads aren't so good and there are a lot of mountains to go above. When you contact Ali he will suggest modifications or implementations to your ideas, let him know what tipe of tourist you are, we will understand and try to satisfy your desires. We aren't mainstream tourist and we like to have a real taste of the land we are visiting, we like to walk and sometimes go on our own. He understood immediately and took us to resturants where local people went, talked a lot about real life and let us walk through some beautiful landscapes instead of always being in the car. So I totally reccomend adventure morocco tours if you want to see a lot and at the same time still having an authentic experience, more as you where travelling with a local friend then a tourist guide.

Ali is the absolute best tour guide I have ever had the pleasure to travel with. My friend (see review by Kate D) arranged for this tour only a few days prior to our trip. We just completed our desert tour with Adventure Morocco Tours. It was a fabulous trip. The variety of landscapes that you pass through is marvellous and the camel ride into the desert is something we will never forget. Ali is the best tour guide I have ever worked with. I emailed him a few days before we left for the trip and talked to him on the phone a couple of times and he arranged an amazing tour for us - two women who have been friends for years. My friend and I had already spent a week at the coast surfing and practicing yoga and were looking for a guided adventure into the interior and high dunes. When we got into his new 4x4 Mitsubishi, Ali immediately made us feel comfortable, asking us questions and answering all of our questions about his Berber culture. One of the best parts of the trips was getting to know his culture and seeing that though we may come from very different geographies and cultures, we are all human and very similar at our core. We were headed from Tagahzout to the deep desert to see what I hoped were big dunes. About 1 hour into the trip he asked me to clarify exactly what our goals for the trip were - when I said I wanted to see big dunes, he immediately asked how big - I said really big! I had not communicated this well via email so he had a more typical tourist version planned for us. On the spot he asked if we were up for more driving and a truly wild adventure. We were a big yes so he started making calls and rerouted us from the smaller dunes he had planned for us to visit near Zagora to Erg Chigaga. We drove for almost a full day off-road and it was worth it. We stayed in real Berber tents made of camel hair and we ate with the locals. The sunrise over the dunes is something I will never forget. The next day we drove through the High Atlas to Marrakech. Along the way we visited a casbah and stopped for various historical sights. We stopped at a lovely town and got a great lesson about Moroccan rugs. In fact we spent so long talking about rugs that we missed our chance at our original hotel and Ali rebooked us at a local boutique hotel/Riad with a great restaurant and pool. I had heard from friends in the US that Marrakech was not all that, but I wanted to go anyhow. With only a few hours there, I made a few gift purchases and was happy to check it off my list and keep going. Ali was adaptable to our needs and made this the trip of a lifetime. My friend and I are already planning to go back next year with more friends and would not even consider traveling with any other tour group.

Me, my teenage niece, my millenial cousin & brother in law, toured with Mohamed from Ksour Voyages from Fes to Marrakech via the Erg Chebbi sahara and the High Atlas passes. The journey was well-paced with plenty of stops to accomodate photos and exploring, even with the shortened daylight hours of late November. Our SUV and accommodations were warm & comfortable, and the food was EXCELLENT throughout the trip--honestly, the best meals I ate in Morocco over my 3-week stay were eaten at the desert camp and Ksar Ait Ben Haddou. I must give special acclaim to our guide Mohamed, who was able to keep 3 generations of travelers interested in the history and geology of the region, while driving stick-shift along rainy mountain roads. Mohamed was alert, engaging, intelligent, informed, and has a warm sense of humor. He was sensitive to our individual needs and the group dynamic, and was willing to share his own story when asked. All four of us truly liked spending time with him, making it difficult to say goodbye at tour's end.... Arranging the tour was easy and seamless, I have no complaints about the process. Ksour was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive, but seemed to offer the best itinerary and range of accommodations, leading me to choose this agency. My family and I are glad we chose Ksour and very glad we were led by Mohamed. We miss you!!

So glad we took this tour from Fes. Our driver Hassan, was great at stopping to see the different sites and even went out of his way to experience an authentic couscous lunch. The highlight of the tour was the camel trek in the Sahara and it was out of this world. Ali and his team made us feel safe the entire time and we felt at home at the camp. Such an amazing experience to camp out in the desert and ride camels!

We enjoyed 2 days adventure with an exkursion to the Orika Valley with its refreshing waterfalls and a hike in the Atlas through the Berber villages.We were absolutely impressed by the hospitality, the warmness and the friendlyness of the locals and the professionality and the reliability of the travelagency! My wife and i spent 1 week in Morocco. The 3-day tour was definitely the highlight. Drive is a stretch, but worth it for the scenery and specially the desert experience. Camel ride + sleeping in the desert was an unique experience with breath taking view. Ali and Mohamed were the tour guides. Both great and fluent in a variety of languages. Spanish and english great. Portuguese really good. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing trip from Fez to Marrakesch with Ali! He took us to the High Atlas Mountains, to Merzouga (Sahara Desert) and Ouarzazette with many stops along the way. Although tough on the backside, trekking in the desert by camel is a fantastic experience. Our guide "Mustafa" i think, was also quite amusing and even gave us a tune or two on the 90 minute trip to the camp site where we would spend the night.The camp was candle lit, with large sleeping tents. Some mattresses were a little on the hard side for most though...The experience included a lovely dinner, with a fire, Berber music and drums. Drum beat was also used to signal sun rise, giving everyone enough time to climb the dune and look for an enjoyable spot to enjoy the sun rising up in the horizon.Great experience and certainly ticked the bucket list.

I recently went on a trip with three friends to the Sahara, the trip was absolutely amazing. The longish drive from Oarzazarte to Merzouga was made fun by our magnificent guide Houssin, knowledgable, charming and very funny - he made us feel safe, happy and made us laugh!The stops along the way included interesting stories about the region as well as stops in friendly restaurants and cafés for delicious food, including kefta tagine! I would highly recommend the experience, which doesn't break the bank and is truly exhilirating!

As Sophia said in her review, we recently travelled to Merzouga with Houssin from Ksour and had the best time! Houssin was incredibly friendly and professional, and kept us entertained with many hilarious stories, interesting facts, blagues à papa and riddles. He was welcoming and thought of everything, including checking we had enough water for the night in the desert. The drive through the desert in the 4x4 was exhilarating and had many stops for photo opportunities. Meals for the two days were included in the price and were very tasty. The desert itself was a fantastic trip - an hour and a half riding a camel, getting to stay in a berber tent, looking up at the stars in the desert and playing drums with our berber guides and a lovely family who were with us are memories I will never forget. All in all, a wonderful trip and one I would recommend to anyone! Worth every penny!

We're a family that likes authentic, close-to-the-source travel--but we also like clean bathrooms. And Ali made sure that we got always got both on a trip that went from Rabat to the Sahara, to Ouarzazate and Marrakesh. That meant buying silver, rugs and Argan oil from local cooperatives. We tapped into his network of guides all over Morocco, and enjoyed every one that he recommended. He showed us traditional Morocco--one great example is our visit to the Kasbah Amridal--but the new Morocco as well, driving us past the Ouarzazate solar power station because he knew we were interested in it (it is massive!) We did some off-roading to see fossil fields, camel herds, and an ancient desert prison. He made sure we got the overnight camel trip and campout in the Sahara that we wanted--campsite right in the dunes (as opposed to right next to them) and one that came with a snowboard for a little sledding down the dunes! Yahoo!And when it comes to safe driving, Ali is your man, whether it's on winding desert mountain roads or the Tishka pass in the Atlas Mountains.

I have travelled to over 50 countries and had guides in many. You are by far my favorite guide-worldwide!I loved our overland adventure experience -- journeying with my daughter to meet your mom and siblings in the High Atlas Mountains. She loved stopping off the beaten track to taste fresh warm camel milk, and to learn the art of tea service from your brother. We liked the blend of staying at artistic hotels like the newly built Four Seasons, as well as Malika's Auberge that only had a wood burning stove, hot water bottles and the love and friendship of the innkeeper to warm us and keep us happy. You were so helpful as we navigated many markets and patient as we selected the exact 3 dozen tea glasses inlaid with shiny metal, colors and patterns. I was so thrilled your SUV was new and comfortable as we embarked on this major overland trek across your country. To say you have a good sense of humor and love of life would be an understatement. My daughter and I were always laughing and smiling each day. Morocco was filled with kind-hearted and friendly people. The country was secure based on your government's proactive way of securing tourists and her people. I am hopeful guests will head to Morocco this year and year's coming to be apart of the country's growth. When we visited your Berber family villageover two decades ago, there were no roads for hours on end, no running water etc. The homes were basic without signs of electric. After much consideration and reviews, I stumbled across a review of Adventure Morocco Tours and emailed Ali with quite a tall order.I wanted to get the best out of our tour but none of the other companies were able to customise a tour to suit my requirements and travel dates. I enquired about the standard packages offered by Adventure Morocco tours and after reviewing them too asked Ali whether he was able to build a customised tour for 3 people. Without any hassle he sent me a proposal that I accepted immediately as he was able to fit in everything I wanted.Our tour was amazing and although we did not have Ali as a guide, his colleague, Mehdi was professional, and bent over backward to meet all our requirements. Ali and Mehdi checked on us daily and that everything met our needs. I loved the flexibility in their approach, nothing was an effort ever. We were given options daily even though we had agreed on an itinerary before arrival. I did not feel rushed or that I had to follow a set itinerary. The tour was relaxed, with many adventures. The best part was that our customised personalised tour did not break the bank either. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!We had originally booked a tour with a big group but left it as we were 12 people crammed into a small & smelly mini bus with a guide that spoke little or no English!Ali came to our rescue in Ouarzazate and we booked a 3 day/2 night tour with him to the Sahara Desert!Ali was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I've been back from my morocco holidays for some days now and I still feel like it was not enough for me. We were a group of three young people ready to discover this amazing country. Ali is one in a million. He's energetic, funny, and incredibly smart. We expected a good tour guide - we got a great friend. (Cheesy, but true). He's incredibly knowledgeable about Morocco and will answer any question you have, no matter how simple or stupid the question might seem. He's incredibly considerate - making sure that local people show you around incredible Moroccan sights and that they are compensated for their knowledge and insight (you are expected to give very modest tips). We went as a couple and were grouped with two Australian girls. We were all fast friends and close with Ali. Lots of laughs, horsing around, and amazing adventure. With some of world's greatest sights in a great country. Recommended!

My wife and I travelled with Ksour Voyages this February to some of the most spectacular parts of Morocco. We were picked up in Marrakech by our driver, Mohammed Takhchi, who was our knowledgeable guide for the next five days. We explored the ancient kasbahs and villages, the stoney desert, lush palm oases, an overnight camel adventure into the dunes and snowy narrow roads over fantastic mountain passes. Mohammed spoke excellent English and was a steady companion as we explored some of the lesser-travelled areas. He tailored our trip to our preferences (environment, villages, people) rather than stopping at the nearby craft markets.All in all, a most memorable experience and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Tour from Marrakech to fes . I saw in few days a very different landscape ...traveling in a comfortable 4x4 and with quite time ..... Not fast like the other tour. We saw the mountain and the gorge and the particular city of Ouarzazate and the anforgetable night to look million stars in the desert. In each place we have a local guide that explique us all we need know. We had always eat in a tipic restaurant with cheap price. I'm very very happy about all ....

The Sahara expedition was quite unforgettable and excellent. All places we visited were impresive, and Ait Benhaddou was the most wonderful place for me. View from the hill located tothe rear of Ait Benhaddou was beautiful. From there, you can see oasis, kasbahs, and desert.Driver's attitude to me was also good , so i can enjoy the Sahara expedition to the full. I was fascinated not only by tourist spots, but also by the scenery seen from the car.

My daughter and I spent 5 days with Mohamed Bakrim, traveling from Marrakesh to Fez by way of Ouarzazate, Zagora, Merzouga, and Midelt. I ditto all the other wonderful reviews on this site. Mohamed was very knowledgeable and never tired of my questions, which were many!! He showed us places and people we would never have discovered on our own, both off road and on. We spent 11 fantastic days together with Mohamed Bakrim. He is the best guide and driver one can imagine. He took care of everything, was very friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed or asked for. We always felt safe while driving and he kept the car meticulously clean and tidy. Even after 2 days of offroad-driving... next day in the early morning the car looked like brand new...Mohamed also knows a lot about the country, the people and places. So he was able to answer all of our (very many) questions and also could provide some extra information you won't find in most books or travel guides. Because of Ali, we interacted with locals everyday to fully experience non-touristic Morocco and gained friendships along the way with Moroccans. One of the most memorable experiences was in the Sahara dessert where we laid in the sand dunes and watched the star-field sky above while Ali and other Berber people shared their native tales and life lessons with the group. It was the most spiritual experience I have ever had. After two wonderful trips with Ali, he is now a friend and I cannot wait to visit him again and to experience the other adventures Morocco has to offer!

Two friends and I just returned from a 5-day tour with Ali and it was the most incredible adventure we have ever experienced. We had fallen in love with Morocco after the first day, and it only got better from there. Everything was perfect: the food was delicious, the riads were beautiful, and the tour guides were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to spend most of our time with locals, which really helped us feel like we were immersing ourselves in the culture and getting the most out of our experience.Ali is a magnificent guide. He is tremendously helpful, funny, and kind and he does everything he can to make sure that his clients are safe and happy. He is extremely knowledgeable about his country and will answer any and all of your questions. We learned so much about Morocco during our visit and enjoyed every second of our travels thanks to Ali. There was never a dull moment and the experience has left me feeling truly inspired.I cannot recommend Adventure Morocco Tours highly enough. My experience with them has made me want to return to Morocco as soon as possible and continue to explore this wonderful country with Ali and the rest of his staff.

We went to Morocco as a family of 6 adults and booked a 3 day 2 night tour with Ali from Fes to Marrakech for the beginning of February. Ali was very responsive during the booking process, answering all my questions and giving me details as best he could for my many concerns. From Fes we were picked up by a driver Aziz, who was very nice and very kind. We were heading to Merzouga at the border of the desert with him and ended up getting hung up in the Atlas Mountains since there had been a lot of snow. Aziz handled the situation in stride and tried to reassure us with whatever information he would find out as to when we would be able to start our journey again once they had cleared the snow. He was very patient and we felt very comfortable with him. Happily, we were able to continue crossing the mountains that day and we got through the snow and one magnificent terrain, into the sand and another that afternoon. We arrived to Merzouga to the Nomad Palace Hotel after nightfall where Ali met us along with the hotel staff and got us settled into our rooms and for a welcome hot meal. The hotel was wonderful. The next day we proceeded to see the sights and sounds of the area with Ali, visiting some local villages and families. Ali gave us explanations along the way of the places and people we were seeing. That evening one of the camel men brought us by camel out to the bivouac where we dined and slept in tents in a very cold desert. The camel ride was magnificent and the desert stunning. That night there was a fire, some music, and dancing performed by some of the employees and guests from other camps or hotels. The next morning we got up for the camel ride back to the hotel at sunrise and for breakfast before heading out for the long drive from Merzouga to Marrakech with Ali. We stopped very briefly at a number of points of interest along the way, like Dades Gorges and Ouarzazate, before arriving in Marrakech where Ali dropped us off at our riad. It was an unforgettable experience.

I had really good time in Marocco. I had lots of fun with Alì, Federica and Aziz. They are really funny guys and nice people to be with. I did an excursion with Aziz, I also went to Essauira by the beach, really nice town and I did a tour with Alì and Federica. Marocco is really wonderful place, for me has got something magic in it.There is beauty everywhere. All the places I saw where stunning. The first time I went there I did the tour with Alì and Federica and I spend around a week there, but it seemed to be more than a week, I think because the experience I had was so reach and full of amazing view, and in each day I saw so many different things, different color, different lands, different villages, different and very good food. Is impossible to describe in word what my eyes saw and how I felt during my trip in Marocco. And all this wonderful experience thanks to Alì, he is really nice dude, funny but responsible, he's got lot of experience and he does everything to make the travellers feel comfotrable. What else....ah....the music was good too. we were listen to some african music, which made the trip even more intresting. I have lots of good memories about my trip in Marocco , and I wanna come back soon and have another amazing adventure, and explore new horizons. Looking forward to go again. My wife and I spent 12 days in Morocco in 2000, touring with Mohamed. I'm not sure how it has changed since then, but at the time it was easy to get into trouble if you didn't speak Arabic or French (we didn't). Mohamed (the owner) tailored a tour for us that included Rabat, Casablanca, Meknes, Volubilis, Beni Malal, Marrakesh, Ouarzazate, Erfoud, Essouira, and other places I can't remember the names of. He is an amazing tour guide and I have heard that he demands the same excellence from those who work with and for him. Everywhere we went in the country, it seemed like everybody knew him. People were always telling me how much they liked him, and I really liked all of his friends. I let him plan the itinerary and I wasn't disappointed. I stayed with the Berber family in the Atlas Mountains and spent the night in the Sahara, both memorable events. I can't praise him enough for the wonderful tour and I'm glad I have to opportunity to share my experiences.

There is nothing negative I can approach to Ksour Voyages. They are excellent professionals from top to the bottom. The owner, Mohamed, is a delightful human being who took extra steps to help us enjoy his native country Morocco. On two occasions he called our driver to see how are things going for us in the desert. The trip was a great success. It had the right mix of busy sight-seeing and leisurely appreciation of this very different part of the world. This Moroccan tour agency did a very good job setting up the trip -- their travel company was top-notch, and the hotels and desert camp we settled on were just what we were looking for.Walking around Marrakech and Fes was like being in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, soaking up the ambiance of the cities. Riding, hiking and climbing around the Sahara desert , magnificent views. Touring Volubulus fascinating site with incredible Roman ruins. If my family could take an other trip again, We would definitely come back to Morocco and travel with Ksour Voyage.

We recently completed a 14 day tour of Morocco. Our group comprised 2 couples and we were driven around this fascinating country in a Toyoto 4 wheel drive by a true Berber, Aziz. He was not only a safe driver, he was friendly, obliging in taking care of us and informative. The itinerary was well planned by Mohamed, who was helpful in organising our travel plans because it was our first visit. We found the main cities of Fes, Marrikech and Quarsazate with the old cities to be particularly interesting. We also marvelled at the beautiful and varying countryside were fortunate to be able to see the mountains of the Atlas, fertile plains , the desert, the oasis , the seaside as well as historic towns. The highlight for us was the trip to the Saraha desert, a camel ride and a night in a camp site with our Bedouin carer, who cooked a fantastic meal under the stars. We also stayed in comfortable riads for the remainder of our trip. For a comprehensive and informative visit of this country, I would recommend this tour operator.

I felt in love with Morocco after this tour!!The service is unbelievable! Punctual and efficient. Ali (our tour guide) speak Italian very well, plus English, French, Spanish and I don't even remember what else! We recently spent 14 days travelling through Morocco on the Grand Tour of Morocco with Ksour Voyages. We had a wonderful driver who took such good care of us - we stayed in beautiful riads (particularly good in Merrakech and Rabat) and also Kasbahs and 4-star hotels. We had a fabulous time in Telouet, Ali took us out walking across the varied landscapes showing us the heavily salted plains, walking up dry river beds to settle down under a lush green area surrounded by Almond trees to have a truely moroccan lunch. We also were hosted at the directeur’s family home in the high Atlas mountains where we were treated to a wonderful home cooked meal with his mother and two of his brothers. For an afternoon we experienced a way of life so different from our own. The home had a central courtyard and an adjacent courtyard with the family’s chickens, goats and cow—certainly not something you’ll see on your average commercial tour. Mohamed could not have been more amiable or adaptable to our needs or wishes. We were able to stop along the way whenever we wished. “There’s a billboard for a winery! Can we do a tasting of the local Gris de Gris and Boulaouane wines?” “Oh, look there are goats in those trees! Can we stop and pet them?” “Yes, whatever you wish,” was always the answer. Even though we usually toured from early in the morning until 5:30 to 7:00 each evening, Mohamed always made himself available for extra shopping trips or more sightseeing in the evenings. Although we chose an itinerary which involved a lot of driving, we came away feeling that we had seen most of this magnificent country.In Fez we bought mosaic tables and mirrors, hand painted china and clay tajines. (Heavy breakables!) They were shipped back to us in the States with no problems or breakage. We even found two extra plates and a bowl in our package. Mo called to make sure we were satisfied with the delivery. We were surprised to learn that his colleague, our local guide in Fez, Mohammed “Couscous” returned to the factory and personally inspected the shipping crates to make sure that all items were accounted for and properly packed. How’s that for service?At the end of our trip there was a glitch: When we arrived at the airport in Casablanca, we learned that Royal Air Maroc had cancelled our flight and we had been rebooked for the following day. Mohamed’s magical cell phone appeared, that web of contacts was consulted, and we shortly found ourselves on the way to a beachside hotel, three meals included, courtesy of Royal Air Maroc.Looking back now, trying to find one thing that I would have changed about this tour, one thing that could possibly have been done or handled better, my only wish is that my camel’s saddle had stirrups. I grew up riding horses on saddles with stirrups, and although the camel saddles had something akin to handlebars, I found it very difficult to ride a camel without stirrups. Mohamed promised that when I return, he would make certain that I would be provided with a camel saddle with stirrups.We found a tour of four to be an excellent balance of size and budget. Not too crowded, but more economical that traveling as a couple. So don’t hesitate! Grab a few friends to join you and book your trip of a lifetime with Ksour Voyages and Bisaha – “Relax and enjoy!”

Very well done private family tour. Our driver Soufiane was excellent - knowledgeable, well spoken, very safe, comfortable driving. The accomodations were OK for the trip. The scenery is beautiful and the stops were well chosen. The night in the dessert was great.

It was a traveling trip accompanied by Brahim, with whom we really enjoyed. Nice, competent and attentive. He is available to meet requests and cares that the customer is comfortable wherever he goes. The agency offers “typical” but adaptable trips. We, for example, started from Fez, we added Rabat and in the desert we did not use dromedaries. Once agreed the stages are quite fixed, good or bad even in restaurants, which are selected by the agency. Very nice riad in Fes, the desert luxury camp and accommodation in Ourzazate. Brahim accompanies car trips with many small curiosities and answers the most varied questions. For the road trip it was really valuable. Good at drivingWe had a great time!

A beautiful experience, an almost perfect trip but the trips are beautiful for this too. Our local agent, Ali, and the national agent, Sara, always present have built a beautifully balanced itinerary between nature and culture. The driver, Joseph, was the added value: his cheerfulness, his constant discreet presence made us feel protected and allowed us to more easily get in touch with this wonderful country and its welcoming people.

We have organized our tour in two days and the result has been very good!Our guide KAMAL welcomed us at the airport with a huge smile. He has been sharing great stories and cultural habit during the whole Trip and always with an eye to our need and desire. We will definitely come back to visit Marocco and it will be with Kamal.

My friends and I joined Adventure Morocco for our post-bar exam vacation and had a great time! Our tour guide Kamal picked us up from our Marrakech Airbnb on morning #1 and proceeded to drive us across the country for the next 4 days, where he dropped us off at our ferry terminal in Tangier. He was really friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to make sure we were satisfied with our experiences. The highlight of the trip for me was the night in the Sahara desert with the Berbers, complete with camel rides. Certainly not an experience to pass up in life! Kamal and the company did their best to navigate unexpected setbacks (e.g., flash floods that close the road to that night’s hotel or mountain road auto accidents). The one thing I would say is to take more dirham (local currency) than you think you need. You will absolutely see things you want to bring home, but almost no one takes credit cards and there aren’t many opportunities for currency exchange. If you want to travel Morocco, absolutely let AM help you have the trip you want!

We booked this tour way in advance of our trip (4 months) and chose this company based on excellent Trip Advisor reviews and the itinerary offered (which included sand boarding, which we definitely wanted to do). Prior to the review I confirmed that we would have an English speaking guide and via email it was confirmed that our driver would be our guide and explain to us about the culture and places we'll cross. We were picked up on time at our riad in Fes by Ali (the driver, not the owner of the company) for a 3 day/2 night private tour (myself and 25 year old daughter). Almost immediately it became apparent that our 'guide's' English was very limited. We had a long first day of driving (about 8 hours) and the conversation consisted of mainly one word statements on his part, pointing to such things as 'lake' or 'kasbah' (which I might have figured out on my own). I tried on several occasions to ask questions, but he could not understand me (his excuse at one point was that he did not understand my American English). Without any interaction it was quite a long boring day. We were dropped off at the desert camp for the evening, without any explanation of what was happening. The camp, btw, was great and I'll review separately. The next morning, while having a leisurely breakfast, we were told that our driver was waiting for us and we needed to immediately pack up, preventing me from even taking a morning shower. We loaded into our car and took off across the desert. At this point I asked what was happening with sand boarding and he said he'd have to call Ali, the owner of the company. Throughout the day (again without any conversation), there were various phone calls between him and someone and we got various stories about why there had been no sand boarding (broken board, no board, etc.). I asked to speak with Ali (the owner) and was told that he couldn't be reached. I said I'd email him that evening and eventually Ali got on the phone. I explained that the tour was really not that, but rather a serious of long day's drives without any narrative, and stops to accommodate our driver meeting friends for lunch (at one point we said we did not want lunch and were left waiting in the car for 40 minutes). Ali (owner) said he would meet us and take over the tour, which was much appreciated. He was quite engaging and for several hours that day and the next day we had an enjoyable tour. Loved the place we stayed in the Dades Valley (Chez Pierre), which I will also review separately. We had lunch the next day and paid up for the tour (getting a 'generous' discount of $20 for no sand boarding) and then Ali announced that he had a problem and needed to stay in the town where we were. Asked if we would mind the original Ali driving us back to Marrakech since there was not that much to see on the way. It was clear that this had been the plan all along as the original Ali showed up in 5 minutes. We felt we had no choice but to have the original Ali drive us back, so then proceeded to sit with him for another 4 hours of driving silence. It was quite disappointing that this was pulled on us without any advance notice as things had been going relatively well with owner Ali. Owner Ali did try to make amends, buying us a few trinkets, but we really did not come nearly 6,000 miles on this trip for this purpose, but rather to have a fun tour experience, which we did not get. This was not a cheap tour for us (nearly $1000 for 3 days), making it even more disappointing. Had we not booked so far in advance we could understand our not getting a guide who spoke good English, but even had he spoken English he was not a very congenial sort of guy. To say that this was a major disappointment of our limited time in Morocco would be an understatement. Sorry for the long review, but I have tried to be as objective as possible in providing this somewhat negative review. The three star rating is an averaged one, but most of the time I would say that the tour was probably more on a 2 star scale.

We had several problems during our trip to Morocco made between late December 2025 and early January 2026. We were 6 people, two families.The most serious problem was undoubtedly that we had an accident because of our driver, but he did not make the friendly finding, but preferred to give money to the other driver. Subsequently there were problems for two of us and Adventure Morocco Tours felt it would not make any statement regarding the incident, despite our numerous insistences.During the planning phase and then confirmed in the written program of the trip it was agreed that the driver should speak absolutely Italian, on the day of departure, at the airport, we discovered that he did not speak it.There were a lot of problems for the guided tour of Marrakesh; it had to be in the morning, then the day before they moved it to the afternoon, only we had already bought tickets for the gardens of Mayorelle and finally without our knowledge a guide arrived in the morning around 9.30, fortunately we had not yet left the riad.In Ait Ben Haddou we had to be accompanied by a local guide to talk about the history of this site, but we did not see any local guide, being included in the offer we had also paid for it.In some riads, namely the Riad Terra Bahia in Marrakech and the Luxury Riad Daddes in the Daddes Valley, we suffered a lot of cold at night because the rooms were not sufficiently heated. In the Riad Terra Bahia one room was on a roof terrace outside, the occupants of this room for the cold even slept with the wool hat on, I think there is no need to add more. Also in the bathrooms there was a window without glass, I let you imagine the temperature of the bathroom and therefore the impossibility of taking a shower. In our opinion some facilities should not be used in the cold months, especially since we had to have all luxury facilities.In one room of the Riad Luxury Dades the sink faucet malfunctioned, spraying from all sides, the shower mixer did not work well as you could not adjust it, so it came out either cold water or boiling water, finally the flush was broken and for the duration of the stay water flowed continuously into the toilet with the resulting noise in the room.According to the agreements we had with the agency in Marrakesh we should have had 3 double rooms, instead we had two triples.He had been warned that one of the members of our group was strongly lactose intolerant, but only following a reminder from us did a couple of Riads learn about it, the others continued to ignore it.The actual journey times for transfers were significantly higher than those indicated in the programme. This meant that some scheduled visits were skipped. A serious program should be calibrated to what you can really do and not indicate things that are not feasible.For all these reasons I do not recommend relying on this Agency

We booked the ride the day before via the internet. The Enterprise responded very quickly. The driver was very friendly. The ride worked smoothly. Can be recommended.

Un guide qui perfectionne le voyage par sa culture du pays, qui sait rester discret mais toujours présent quand il le faut, mille mercis à Aziz et à l'agence Ksour Voyage pour cette expérience qui restera gravée dans nos mémoires. Petit plus pour la voiture toujours propre, la climatisation qui rend les heures de route très agréables. C'était parfait !

Beautiful 10-day tour of the four imperial cities of Morocco with departure and return to Marrakech accompanied by our driver Brahim (three couples with a nine-seater van Ford), very professional, always punctual and prepared in the various issues addressed and concerning the various sites, who recommended us at appropriate times traditional restaurants always up to scratch, especially for the surprising grill of lamb. Morocco surprised us for the diversity and beauty of the landscapes and for the composure and courtesy of the people we came in contact with (especially the staff of the hotels and riads). We had asked for luxury hotels and were satisfied, especially for the beautiful Kasbah Tamsna in Ouarzazate, all with really good breakfasts and dinners. Very nice experience in the desert of Erg Chebbi.The only flaws were in the Riads Perlekech in Marrakech (Aladin room with creaky bed structure at the slightest movement that kept those who slept there awake all night) and Riad Braya (ground floor room with door directly to the lobby).

Very well organized tour. Starting from Tangier, they took us to Tétouan, Chefchaouen, Fes, Midelt, desert, Dades valley, Ouarzazate and ended up in Marrakech. We decided to organize our 9 days tour in Morocco through Evaneos, followed by Sara, always very present in the updates of the trip, who relied on this local agency. For us we had a mini van equipped with fridge and Wi-Fi and Said was our driver and travel companion, since without him we could not visit small local realities and eat in typical Moroccan restaurants at very low prices. Morocco tour in 11 days:Arrival in Casablanca by plane from Malpensa. Waiting for us was Mubarek with his Toyota Prado who will become the driver-guide for the rest of the journey of over 3000 km (he speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish well enough as well as Arabic and the Berber language obviously).The countries visited: Rabat, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes, Fes, Ifrane, Midelt, Erfoud, Erg Chebbi, Boumalne Dades, Ouarzzate, Taroudant, Essaouira, Marrakech and return to Casablanca for the return trip.The guide always proved to be prepared and attentive to driving, especially for his knowledge of the desert area where the Erg Chebbi tent camp (very cold at night!) was located within the Sahara desert on the border with Algeria.It was our first trip to Morocco and we will certainly return to discover the other places we have not visited.

We went from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga Desert, on the road our friendly and professional guide LAHCEN brought us to beautiful and hidden places, for example Ouzoud waterfalls, Dades gorge exc. We joined an private day tour to Essauoria through Viator which is operated by Adevnture Morocco Tours . The tour fits the description. There is punctual pick up at hotel. We went to see goats on argan tree , making of argan oil , and spend free time in town around 3hours . The driver Ali fartass is nice , and give information to us about Morocco during the car trip . The only regret was Essauoria is too great ,and we wish we can stay longer . I will suggest traveller with limited time to join this tour , but if u have more time , consider to stay longer in Essauoria.It is a great town .

He was being protective and offered priceless insights into local culture, giving us very honest and extremely helpful hints as what, where and how to do in Morocco, where culture clashes are high and expected, and tribes and peoples are multicultural and so very different from place to place. Having experienced the North, the South, the West and the East, having traveled thousands of miles across the country, the Atlas Mountains in their many forms, Rif Mountains, the Sahara Desert, we may safely say we have acquired a taste of Morocco and for Morocco. Will we visit again - not soon, but if we do it will be with AMT and Kamal as our guide. Word of advice - if you travel in the winter temperatures in the desert are extreme. Try staying in local Riads rather than hotels - most are full of unexpected architectural treasures visible only from the inside, as from the outside most Moroccan Médina houses look mostly the same and very plain. And do try street foods, you will not be disappointed.

We have just taken a 3 day private tour from Marrakech to Merzouga with Adventure Morocco Tours and had a excellent experience. We highly recommend our tour guide Ali and his colleagues (of whom we met several at stops throughout the tour) to anyone considering a tour in Morocco. We were fortunate to learn a lot about Moroccan and Berber culture and were taught Arabic and Berber phrases. Ali was an exceptionally skilled driver which is not to be underestimated as the tour to the desert involves large driving distances and varied terrain. Ali went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and getting the most from our experience. We never felt like we had to do anything or were pushed into anything and Ali tailored the trip to our interests. He entertained us and made the tour very special. We just wish we had more time and could have done a 4 day tour and had more time. There are many tour companies offering similar tours but Adventure Morocco Tours is a trustworthy, safe and fun company that we highly recommend and would use again when we return to Morocco. Ali picked us up from our hotel and was full of beans and armed with information about the history of Morocco which we found fascinating. Ali’s knowledge of the local area was second to none and he was really engaging and interesting throughout our tour. He picked up us up in Fez, we went to the desert and then through the Atlas Mountains to Marrakesh. He was such a fun guide! He created a package which matched our desires. He was very open to our questions and insightful about history and culture. He loves his country and is proud of the heritage. He has a great sense of humor and compassion. I recently traveled to Morocco with my friends (4 people) and enjoyed 9 days visiting multiple cities from Tangier to Chouen to Sahara to Marrakech, among other places. Kamal was our driver (oficial tittle), guide and friend. We learned so much about their culture and visited historical sites. Our tour began in Tangier where we were greeted by our driver, Kamal. First and foremost, I’ll admit right here that Kamal helped to make this vacation one of the best I’ve ever experienced. He is a very warm, friendly, and overall genuine person who makes you feel like family. He is also very receptive and willing to go the extra mile to make his customers happy. If I’m ever in Morocco again, I will definitely want to hang out with him for another good conversation over tea.The tour advanced through Chefchaouen, Midelt, up the Atlas mountains, into the Sahara, and eventually finishing up the tour in Marrakesh. Again, Kamal was always there for us, and always ready to answer our questions. The selection of Riads (hotels/B&Bs) were mostly exclusive, inviting, and beautiful to say the least. My friends and I went on a cross-country tour of Morocco the first week of November. From the very beginning the tour company was extremely helpful and professional. They answered COUNTLESS emails and questions I sent for months before even booking the tour. Once we arrived in Tangier our driver KAMAL was there to meet us.From the very beginning he made our trip fun, educational, spontaneous, and completely unforgettable. Without him I don’t even know what would have happened. We drove from Tangier to Fes out to Merzouga (camel rides in the desert to camp out - glam camp of course) and then finished in Marrakesh. It was a long trek and our driver come all made it so much fun!! We wanted to experience the Moroccan hamam and he took us to the best place where we were stripped and scrubbed and treated to a local experience. I overall COMPLETELY recommend this tour. Ali Bourki was the best guide we could have ever imagined! He picked us up in Fez and drove us to the desert for an overnight experience in the Sahara desert in a glamorous tent —riding camels there at sunset. Then we went on to beautiful Dades for an overnight and then over the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakesh. Ali is well informed and proud of his Berber culture. We listened to Berber music in his car and asked him a million questions. He made our trip to Morocco one that we will absolutely never forget!

We booked a 3 day/2 nights trip with pickup from our riad in Fes to Marrakech. Definitely was one of our highlights of our Morocco roundtrip. Especially our driver Ali was great, told us lot's about the Moroccan culture & people. He always made the extra mile & made it really special for us. Trip is worth the money as you will see a lot of the country, Atlas mountains, desert etc.

We were a group of 3 girls between 23 and 29 years and did a 3 day tour with him. He picked us up from our hotel and spent the full 3 days with us.We spent one night in the sahara in a very cute tent camp for only the three of us and some locals who cooked very good local food for dinner and breakfast.The other night was at a really nice hotel with a great panoramic view.Our personal highlight was the visit at his family's house. His mother and his sisters welcomed us at their home, painted us henna tattoos and served us cookies, tea and a moroccain pizza. And this pizza was one of the best pizzas we've ever tried in our lifes!!We would really recommend a trip with Ali as a guide. He has a comfortable car which he is driving very safely, speaks seven (I guess) languages fluently and informs you the whole trip about Moroccos landscape, its people, culture etc. Whenever you ask him a question, he has an answer ;) And if you wanna have some silent time during the car ride, Ali respects that as well.Whenever we had a special wish, he made it happen only minutes after and there was not even one moment in the whole trip, where we didn't feel safe, which is really important in our opinion when you are travelling in a girls group.

We had an amazing 3-day desert trip from Fes to Marrakesch with our guide driver KAMAL. We booked the tour some weeks in advance and the booking process and communication with the company was easy and reliable. On the starting day of our tour, Kamal picked us up at our Riad in Fes and we headed towards Merzouga. On our way we passed the Middle and High Atlas and admired the beautiful landscape. After some stops and a quite long drive we arrived in Merzouga where we rode two camels to get to our berber tents in the desert. We had a wonderful night with thousands of stars and woke up early to see the sun rise. The next day we drove towards Boumalne and passed amazing mountain landscapes and two beautiful gorges. On the last day we visited Quarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou before we arrived in Marrakesh. All in all, the tour was perfect because we saw so many wonderful places and Kamal did everything to make our trip marvellous: He is a very sympathetic guy, was always in a good mood, told us a lot about Morocco's culture and the places we visited, stopped whereever we wanted, entertained us with some nice music and made the trip an amazing experience we will never forget! Kamal served as the driver for me and my girlfriend Jasmine on a 5-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech in late August / early September 2018. Getting Kamal as our driver was one of the best things that happened to us in Morocco. Kamal has that special knack for making anyone feel at ease. When he first picked up us, he told us we should think of him as our “brother.” Sure enough, after a couple of hours, we were joking and bantering like siblings. Another quality we appreciated about Kamal was his willingness to customize the trek to our needs. If you want to make less or more stops, you can. If you have a special request, Kamal will make it happen. Before we hopped on camels for our night in the Sahara, we wanted to take a quick swim. Kamal found a dar (guest house) and was able to get the manager to open up early, so we could lounge at the pool. We can’t recommend Kamal and his service highly enough. He treats all his customers like family. He’s funny, kind-hearted, knowledgeable, and has great driving skills. No matter where you’re going or what you’re seeing in Morocco, you’ll be glad Kamal was your guide.

Our two night tour to and from Fes was an incredible experience of a lifetime! I highly recommend going with Adventure Morocco Tours. This is a great, professional company that cares about their customers. Adventure Morocco Tours gets a 10 out of 10 but I have to say that our driver Kamal makes it an 11! From the beginning of our trip, Kamal said to ask or tell him anything because we are “like family.” Within a few short hours, I can honestly say I felt that to be true. He was always checking on us and took excellent care of us! As two female travelers, we always felt not only safe but completely at ease and comfortable wherever we went. My friend and I spent 3 days with Kamal going to and from Fes and to the Sahara desert. I had read in previous posts that people felt like family with their tour guide and I thought “yea right” but truly truly this is how we felt with Kamal. I felt as though I was spending 3 days visiting with my brother, who lived in another country and was showing his country to me. Kamal, you were wonderful and you gave us the trip of a lifetime. The company is wonderful, the hotels were great, the camels were so cool, but Kamal is the one who made our trip amazing. Without him, and with the same company, everything would have been great and we would have been very very happy. But with Kamal, we (two female travelers) always felt safe, always felt thought of and always felt comfortable. If my sister or mother was coming alone to Morocco, I would send them to Kamal. If I ever come back to Morocco, I will contact Kamal. Kamal was always thoughtful. He was easy going and helpful. We asked him so many questions about his life, his family and his culture and he answered everything openly. We had hours and hours of good conversation. I truly feel I know more about the Berber culture and Moroccan culture than any of the other countries I have visited.The whole trip was wonderful and well planned. We always felt safe. We visited on a big holiday so everything was closed and we were able to eat lunch with Ali’s (the owners) family. This was another highlight. Going to his house and meeting his family was wonderful. We did not feel like tourists, we felt like guests. I have done a lot of traveling and done many sorts of tours similar to this... some 1 day, some up to 6, and this was the best one I have ever done. It was one of the best experience of our life. As soon as we met our guide Kamal, we created a great relationship like we had known each other for a long time. During the trip, we felt like friends even like brothers and we shared a lot of adventures. He accepted every requests we asked. We started our trip in Fes and then we crossed all Morocco to go in the Merzouga desert. We felt so impressed by the wonderful places we visited. Every time he let us met different people and tried all the delicious food of this fantastic country. All the Riads were very organized and at the same time so simple. We enjoyed the real life of the Berber people and after riding a camel for 2 hours we slept under a speechless sky full of stars. As he speaks English, French and other languages fluently as well as German, we could ask him all questions we had and his answers were really informative. We did a two and a half day tour with Kamal from Fes to Marrakech. Kamal is a fantastic guide and driver, with thoughtful and helpful insights and answers to our many questions. He is truly a professional and we would highly recommend him. Specifically, when our flight to Fes got rerouted to Tangier and arrived at midnight, we messaged them in a panic, but Kamal drove 5 hours from Fes to Tangier to pick us up and drive us back to Fes, arriving at 5am, all for a reasonable price given the situation. Ali our guide was fantastic and he led us on the adventure of a lifetime through the Sahara He was so knowledgeable and willing to answer in great depth our probing questions about the culture, people,geography, history, and random curiosities. After watching the sunset over the dunes, we celebrated with a live performance by local band Daraa Tribes (Ali arranged a live band to play in the middle of the desert!). The weather was perfect (not windy) so we slept on the dunes and woke up to the sunrise. Simply amazing!The entire experience felt like a road trip with great friends. Ali took great care of us, all we had to do was take in the experience.I came to Morocco not knowing what to expect and open for new experiences. The only travel company to use in Morocco. A colleague of mine organized a group tour for five from Marrakech to the Sahara desert. Ali was our guide and Youseff the driver. We all had a transformative experience, watching the sunset over the sand dunes, an 8 person Twarig band and sleeping in the tallest sand dune under the stars is an experience I’ll never forget. Adventure Morocco Tours arranged a custom tour for us (2 people) beginning in Tangier and ending in Marrakech, calling in at Chefchaouen, Fes, Erg Chebbi, Dades Gorge, Ouarzazate, and many other places. Note Morocco is not a small country, and this tour involved many long drives; we used a comfortable 4x4. They were flexible in customizing the itinerary and the accommodations were very nice with lots of character and we were allowed to preview and approve prior to arriving in Morocco. Ali, the owner, was easy to communicate with and prompt in his responses. Even when there was a minor miscommunication, Ali went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the outcome. We would highly recommend Adventure Morocco Tours. Our driver Kamal (note Morocco is very fussy about the label of driver vs guide) was excellent: he speaks English well, is a safe driver and was conscientious about locking the vehicle with our things inside. He is good natured and chatty, and was eager to share information about Morocco and its culture and traditions as we went. He took us to many small places to eat and get the “locals” experience and avoided concentrations of other tourists whenever possible. He was sensitive to what we wanted and went out of way to make sure we got it. He advocated the best price for us whenever we were interested in purchasing even small things like water, scarves or dates. We thought Kamal was exceptional. A 5+ star. He and AMT seemed genuinely concerned for us to have a great trip, and they were successful!

My friend and I just returned from a three day desert tour with Kamal. It was an unforgettable experience; we'd recommend it to everyone! Kamal was an awesome tour guide (and now friend!). He's super fun to hang out with -- we had a blast talking and singing with him in the car (he has great taste in music). We had a day trip to Chefchaouen and loved it. The booking was really simple and moderately priced. We both loved our driver Kamal! We made a 3 days trip starting from Fes arriving to Marrakesh. We visited many beautiful villages and saw several amazing landscapes. The dromedary riding and the night spent in a tent in the desert was something we will never forget. Our guide, Camal, was really nice. He showed us a lot of interesting spots and introduced us to the Moroccan lifestyle and culture. We spent the second night in a typical berber Riad. We found Adventure Morocco Tours in Tripadvisor and decided to contact them for our trip from Fes to Marrakech; from the very beginning Alì was very helpful and "flexible" to adjust the standard tour to our wishes (we wanted to visit Chefchaouen too). Everything was very well organized, from the pick-up at the airport until the end. Hassan (Lahcen) was our driver and guide along the road: very nice guy, always smiling and explaining many things about the Moroccan and Berber culture. He is a careful and safe driver. Aziz was our guide in Fes (very nice gentlemen); he showed us the medina and some wonderful buildings. The riad was excellent. After the visit in Chefchaouen (unfortunately with rain) we went to Volubilis, an historical roman site, and later to Meknes where Said (our great guide) showed us the wonders of this imperial capital. Then we took the road to the desert, passing Ifrane (the Moroccan Swiss), the forest with monkeys, the medium Atlas. Finally we arrived to Erfoud and Merzouga. We took our camels and spent the night in a Berber tent in the desert. It was awasome to see the colours of sunset and sunrise ! Then we took the road through the stone desert, where both La Marathon des Sables and the original Paris-Dakar took place several times. This is out of the standard turistic tours, and we enjoyed it very much. Hassan and Alì organized for us a nice lunch in the desert under a tree with a Berber "pizza" and we met some nomad children. After the desert we visited the Dades Valley, the Todra cliffs, the Roses valley, and reached Ouarzazate (the Moroccan Hollywood). Finally we went to Ait Ben Haddou and reached our final destination: Marrakech, with its famous square. We want to thank Alì, Hassan, Aziz, Said and Hicham for the very nice taste of Morocco they gave us: it was so nice to listen to the explanations of the traditional Berber culture and the influence of the Arabic one. Nice riads as accomodations, good moroccan food were part of the brilliant organization of our tour. Although there are many small stories, the satisfaction level of the whole trip was very high. It may have included the melancholy of the last trip while living abroad. I had planned all past trips, but since Morocco was unknown, I joined the tour for the first time. What we were lucky was that we could meet a good driver. He understands the Japanese well and respected us. We also respect him. I can not deny that some Japanese tourists who do not understand such a thing, I am sorry. We spent 11 days travelling with Ali and his brother Abdoul in the southern region of Morocco. Our experience with them was great. Ali speaks many languages and knows very well almost every corner of his Country. They are reliable drivers and having them to drive their 4x4 jeep gave us the chance to see many things different from the usual touristic tours. All the riads and hotels we slept in where very very nice, comfortable and clean. Ali is really open to all sorts of propositions and willing to answer every tipe of questions on his Country. Our itinerary was Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, Fint Oasis,part of the Dades Valley, the desert of Erg Chebbi with one night in a camp, the Todra gorges, we did a two day trekking in the Rose Valley (really awsome), and after that we went down the High Atlas trough the saffron region of Taliouine up to the Anti-Atlas to Tafraout near the beautiful oasis of Ait Mansour. After that we went up the Atlantic coast to Essaouira and back to Marrakech. My suggestion is to study very well your itinerary and the things you want to see and do, considering the time you have and that travelling long distances will take longer then usual, because roads aren't so good and there are a lot of mountains to go above. When you contact Ali he will suggest modifications or implementations to your ideas, let him know what tipe of tourist you are, we will understand and try to satisfy your desires. We aren't mainstream tourist and we like to have a real taste of the land we are visiting, we like to walk and sometimes go on our own. He understood immediately and took us to resturants where local people went, talked a lot about real life and let us walk through some beautiful landscapes instead of always being in the car. So I totally reccomend adventure morocco tours if you want to see a lot and at the same time still having an authentic experience, more as you where travelling with a local friend then a tourist guide.

We just completed our desert tour with Adventure Morocco Tours. It was a fabulous trip. The variety of landscapes that you pass through is marvellous and the camel ride into the desert is something we will never forget. Ali is the best tour guide I have ever worked with. I emailed him a few days before we left for the trip and talked to him on the phone a couple of times and he arranged an amazing tour for us - two women who have been friends for years. My friend and I had already spent a week at the coast surfing and practicing yoga and were looking for a guided adventure into the interior and high dunes. When we got into his new 4x4 Mitsubishi, Ali immediately made us feel comfortable, asking us questions and answering all of our questions about his Berber culture. One of the best parts of the trips was getting to know his culture and seeing that though we may come from very different geographies and cultures, we are all human and very similar at our core. We were headed from Tagahzout to the deep desert to see what I hoped were big dunes. About 1 hour into the trip he asked me to clarify exactly what our goals for the trip were - when I said I wanted to see big dunes, he immediately asked how big - I said really big! I had not communicated this well via email so he had a more typical tourist version planned for us. On the spot he asked if we were up for more driving and a truly wild adventure. We were a big yes so he started making calls and rerouted us from the smaller dunes he had planned for us to visit near Zagora to Erg Chigaga. We drove for almost a full day off-road and it was worth it. We stayed in real Berber tents made of camel hair and we ate with the locals. The sunrise over the dunes is something I will never forget. The next day we drove through the High Atlas to Marrakech. Along the way we visited a casbah and stopped for various historical sights. We stopped at a lovely town and got a great lesson about Moroccan rugs. In fact we spent so long talking about rugs that we missed our chance at our original hotel and Ali rebooked us at a local boutique hotel/Riad with a great restaurant and pool. I had heard from friends in the US that Marrakech was not all that, but I wanted to go anyhow. With only a few hours there, I made a few gift purchases and was happy to check it off my list and keep going. Ali was adaptable to our needs and made this the trip of a lifetime. My friend and I are already planning to go back next year with more friends and would not even consider traveling with any other tour group.

Me, my teenage niece, my millenial cousin & brother in law, toured with Mohamed from Ksour Voyages from Fes to Marrakech via the Erg Chebbi sahara and the High Atlas passes. The journey was well-paced with plenty of stops to accomodate photos and exploring, even with the shortened daylight hours of late November. Our SUV and accommodations were warm & comfortable, and the food was EXCELLENT throughout the trip--honestly, the best meals I ate in Morocco over my 3-week stay were eaten at the desert camp and Ksar Ait Ben Haddou. I must give special acclaim to our guide Mohamed, who was able to keep 3 generations of travelers interested in the history and geology of the region, while driving stick-shift along rainy mountain roads. Mohamed was alert, engaging, intelligent, informed, and has a warm sense of humor. He was sensitive to our individual needs and the group dynamic, and was willing to share his own story when asked. All four of us truly liked spending time with him, making it difficult to say goodbye at tour's end.... Arranging the tour was easy and seamless, I have no complaints about the process. Ksour was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive, but seemed to offer the best itinerary and range of accommodations, leading me to choose this agency. My family and I are glad we chose Ksour and very glad we were led by Mohamed. We miss you!!

So glad we took this tour from Fes. Our driver Hassan, was great at stopping to see the different sites and even went out of his way to experience an authentic couscous lunch. The highlight of the tour was the camel trek in the Sahara and it was out of this world. Ali and his team made us feel safe the entire time and we felt at home at the camp. Such an amazing experience to camp out in the desert and ride camels!

We enjoyed 2 days adventure with an exkursion to the Orika Valley with its refreshing waterfalls and a hike in the Atlas through the Berber villages.We were absolutely impressed by the hospitality, the warmness and the friendlyness of the locals and the professionality and the reliability of the travelagency! My wife and i spent 1 week in Morocco. The 3-day tour was definitely the highlight. Drive is a stretch, but worth it for the scenery and specially the desert experience. Camel ride + sleeping in the desert was an unique experience with breath taking view. Ali and Mohamed were the tour guides. Both great and fluent in a variety of languages. Spanish and english great. Portuguese really good. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing trip from Fez to Marrakesch with Ali! He took us to the High Atlas Mountains, to Merzouga (Sahara Desert) and Ouarzazette with many stops along the way. Although tough on the backside, trekking in the desert by camel is a fantastic experience. Our guide "Mustafa" i think, was also quite amusing and even gave us a tune or two on the 90 minute trip to the camp site where we would spend the night.The camp was candle lit, with large sleeping tents. Some mattresses were a little on the hard side for most though...The experience included a lovely dinner, with a fire, Berber music and drums. Drum beat was also used to signal sun rise, giving everyone enough time to climb the dune and look for an enjoyable spot to enjoy the sun rising up in the horizon.Great experience and certainly ticked the bucket list.

I recently went on a trip with three friends to the Sahara, the trip was absolutely amazing. The longish drive from Oarzazarte to Merzouga was made fun by our magnificent guide Houssin, knowledgable, charming and very funny - he made us feel safe, happy and made us laugh!The stops along the way included interesting stories about the region as well as stops in friendly restaurants and cafés for delicious food, including kefta tagine! I would highly recommend the experience, which doesn't break the bank and is truly exhilirating!

As Sophia said in her review, we recently travelled to Merzouga with Houssin from Ksour and had the best time! Houssin was incredibly friendly and professional, and kept us entertained with many hilarious stories, interesting facts, blagues à papa and riddles. He was welcoming and thought of everything, including checking we had enough water for the night in the desert. The drive through the desert in the 4x4 was exhilarating and had many stops for photo opportunities. Meals for the two days were included in the price and were very tasty. The desert itself was a fantastic trip - an hour and a half riding a camel, getting to stay in a berber tent, looking up at the stars in the desert and playing drums with our berber guides and a lovely family who were with us are memories I will never forget. All in all, a wonderful trip and one I would recommend to anyone! Worth every penny!

We're a family that likes authentic, close-to-the-source travel--but we also like clean bathrooms. And Ali made sure that we got always got both on a trip that went from Rabat to the Sahara, to Ouarzazate and Marrakesh. That meant buying silver, rugs and Argan oil from local cooperatives. We tapped into his network of guides all over Morocco, and enjoyed every one that he recommended. He showed us traditional Morocco--one great example is our visit to the Kasbah Amridal--but the new Morocco as well, driving us past the Ouarzazate solar power station because he knew we were interested in it (it is massive!) We did some off-roading to see fossil fields, camel herds, and an ancient desert prison. He made sure we got the overnight camel trip and campout in the Sahara that we wanted--campsite right in the dunes (as opposed to right next to them) and one that came with a snowboard for a little sledding down the dunes! Yahoo!And when it comes to safe driving, Ali is your man, whether it's on winding desert mountain roads or the Tishka pass in the Atlas Mountains.

You were so helpful as we navigated many markets and patient as we selected the exact 3 dozen tea glasses inlaid with shiny metal, colors and patterns. I was so thrilled your SUV was new and comfortable as we embarked on this major overland trek across your country. To say you have a good sense of humor and love of life would be an understatement. My daughter and I were always laughing and smiling each day. Morocco was filled with kind-hearted and friendly people. The country was secure based on your government's proactive way of securing tourists and her people. I am hopeful guests will head to Morocco this year and year's coming to be apart of the country's growth. When we visited your Berber family villageover two decades ago, there were no roads for hours on end, no running water etc. The homes were basic without signs of electric. After much consideration and reviews, I stumbled across a review of Adventure Morocco Tours and emailed Ali with quite a tall order.I wanted to get the best out of our tour but none of the other companies were able to customise a tour to suit my requirements and travel dates. I enquired about the standard packages offered by Adventure Morocco tours and after reviewing them too asked Ali whether he was able to build a customised tour for 3 people. Without any hassle he sent me a proposal that I accepted immediately as he was able to fit in everything I wanted.Our tour was amazing and although we did not have Ali as a guide, his colleague, Mehdi was professional, and bent over backward to meet all our requirements. Ali and Mehdi checked on us daily and that everything met our needs. I loved the flexibility in their approach, nothing was an effort ever. We were given options daily even though we had agreed on an itinerary before arrival. I did not feel rushed or that I had to follow a set itinerary. The tour was relaxed, with many adventures. I've been back from my morocco holidays for some days now and I still feel like it was not enough for me. We were a group of three young people ready to discover this amazing country. Ali is one in a million. He's energetic, funny, and incredibly smart. We expected a good tour guide - we got a great friend. (Cheesy, but true). He's incredibly knowledgeable about Morocco and will answer any question you have, no matter how simple or stupid the question might seem. He's incredibly considerate - making sure that local people show you around incredible Moroccan sights and that they are compensated for their knowledge and insight (you are expected to give very modest tips). We went as a couple and were grouped with two Australian girls. We were all fast friends and close with Ali. Lots of laughs, horsing around, and amazing adventure. With some of world's greatest sights in a great country. Recommended!

My wife and I travelled with Ksour Voyages this February to some of the most spectacular parts of Morocco. We were picked up in Marrakech by our driver, Mohammed Takhchi, who was our knowledgeable guide for the next five days. We explored the ancient kasbahs and villages, the stoney desert, lush palm oases, an overnight camel adventure into the dunes and snowy narrow roads over fantastic mountain passes. Mohammed spoke excellent English and was a steady companion as we explored some of the lesser-travelled areas. He tailored our trip to our preferences (environment, villages, people) rather than stopping at the nearby craft markets.All in all, a most memorable experience and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Tour from Marrakech to fes . I saw in few days a very different landscape ...traveling in a comfortable 4x4 and with quite time ..... Not fast like the other tour. We saw the mountain and the gorge and the particular city of Ouarzazate and the anforgetable night to look million stars in the desert. In each place we have a local guide that explique us all we need know. We had always eat in a tipic restaurant with cheap price. I'm very very happy about all ....

The Sahara expedition was quite unforgettable and excellent. All places we visited were impresive, and Ait Benhaddou was the most wonderful place for me. View from the hill located tothe rear of Ait Benhaddou was beautiful. From there, you can see oasis, kasbahs, and desert.Driver's attitude to me was also good , so i can enjoy the Sahara expedition to the full. I was fascinated not only by tourist spots, but also by the scenery seen from the car.

My daughter and I spent 5 days with Mohamed Bakrim, traveling from Marrakesh to Fez by way of Ouarzazate, Zagora, Merzouga, and Midelt. I ditto all the other wonderful reviews on this site. Mohamed was very knowledgeable and never tired of my questions, which were many!! He showed us places and people we would never have discovered on our own, both off road and on. He took care of everything, was very friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed or asked for. We always felt safe while driving and he kept the car meticulously clean and tidy. Even after 2 days of offroad-driving... next day in the early morning the car looked like brand new...Mohamed also knows a lot about the country, the people and places. So he was able to answer all of our (very many) questions and also could provide some extra information you won't find in most books or travel guides. Because of Ali, we interacted with locals everyday to fully experience non-touristic Morocco and gained friendships along the way with Moroccans. One of the most memorable experiences was in the Sahara dessert where we laid in the sand dunes and watched the star-field sky above while Ali and other Berber people shared their native tales and life lessons with the group. It was the most spiritual experience I have ever had. After two wonderful trips with Ali, he is now a friend and I cannot wait to visit him again and to experience the other adventures Morocco has to offer!

Two friends and I just returned from a 5-day tour with Ali and it was the most incredible adventure we have ever experienced. We went to Morocco as a family of 6 adults and booked a 3 day 2 night tour with Ali from Fes to Marrakech for the beginning of February. Ali was very responsive during the booking process, answering all my questions and giving me details as best he could for my many concerns. From Fes we were picked up by a driver Aziz, who was very nice and very kind. We were heading to Merzouga at the border of the desert with him and ended up getting hung up in the Atlas Mountains since there had been a lot of snow. Aziz handled the situation in stride and tried to reassure us with whatever information he would find out as to when we would be able to start our journey again once they had cleared the snow. He was very patient and we felt very comfortable with him. Happily, we were able to continue crossing the mountains that day and we got through the snow and one magnificent terrain, into the sand and another that afternoon. We arrived to Merzouga to the Nomad Palace Hotel after nightfall where Ali met us along with the hotel staff and got us settled into our rooms and for a welcome hot meal. The hotel was wonderful. The next day we proceeded to see the sights and sounds of the area with Ali, visiting some local villages and families. Ali gave us explanations along the way of the places and people we were seeing. That evening one of the camel men brought us by camel out to the bivouac where we dined and slept in tents in a very cold desert. The camel ride was magnificent and the desert stunning. That night there was a fire, some music, and dancing performed by some of the employees and guests from other camps or hotels. The next morning we got up for the camel ride back to the hotel at sunrise and for breakfast before heading out for the long drive from Merzouga to Marrakech with Ali. We stopped very briefly at a number of points of interest along the way, like Dades Gorges and Ouarzazate, before arriving in Marrakech where Ali dropped us off at our riad. It was an unforgettable experience.

I had really good time in Marocco. I had lots of fun with Alì, Federica and Aziz. They are really funny guys and nice people to be with. I did an excursion with Aziz, I also went to Essauira by the beach, really nice town and I did a tour with Alì and Federica. Marocco is really wonderful place, for me has got something magic in it.There is beauty everywhere. All the places I saw where stunning. The first time I went there I did the tour with Alì and Federica and I spend around a week there, but it seemed to be more than a week, I think because the experience I had was so reach and full of amazing view, and in each day I saw so many different things, different color, different lands, different villages, different and very good food. Is impossible to describe in word what my eyes saw and how I felt during my trip in Marocco. And all this wonderful experience thanks to Alì, he is really nice dude, funny but responsible, he's got lot of experience and he does everything to make the travellers feel comfotrable. What else....ah....the music was good too. we were listen to some african music, which made the trip even more intresting. I have lots of good memories about my trip in Marocco , and I wanna come back soon and have another amazing adventure, and explore new horizons. Looking forward to go again. Thank you again Alì was a pleasure to meet a real desert's man. =)

My wife and I spent 12 days in Morocco in 2000, touring with Mohamed. I'm not sure how it has changed since then, but at the time it was easy to get into trouble if you didn't speak Arabic or French (we didn't). Mohamed (the owner) tailored a tour for us that included Rabat, Casablanca, Meknes, Volubilis, Beni Malal, Marrakesh, Ouarzazate, Erfoud, Essouira, and other places I can't remember the names of. He is an amazing tour guide and I have heard that he demands the same excellence from those who work with and for him. Everywhere we went in the country, it seemed like everybody knew him. People were always telling me how much they liked him, and I really liked all of his friends. I let him plan the itinerary and I wasn't disappointed. I stayed with the Berber family in the Atlas Mountains and spent the night in the Sahara, both memorable events. I can't praise him enough for the wonderful tour and I'm glad I have to opportunity to share my experiences.

There is nothing negative I can approach to Ksour Voyages. They are excellent professionals from top to the bottom. The owner, Mohamed, is a delightful human being who took extra steps to help us enjoy his native country Morocco. On two occasions he called our driver to see how are things going for us in the desert. The trip was a great success. It had the right mix of busy sight-seeing and leisurely appreciation of this very different part of the world. This Moroccan tour agency did a very good job setting up the trip -- their travel company was top-notch, and the hotels and desert camp we settled on were just what we were looking for.Walking around Marrakech and Fes was like being in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, soaking up the ambiance of the cities. Riding, hiking and climbing around the Sahara desert , magnificent views. Touring Volubulus fascinating site with incredible Roman ruins. If my family could take an other trip again, We would definitely come back to Morocco and travel with Ksour Voyage.

Very good choice for a tour out of Marrakech. We would defintely recommend. We spent 4 days / 3 nights doing the typical trip out to Sahara via Atlas mountains, and all the sights along the way.

We recently completed a 14 day tour of Morocco. Our group comprised 2 couples and we were driven around this fascinating country in a Toyoto 4 wheel drive by a true Berber, Aziz. He was not only a safe driver, he was friendly, obliging in taking care of us and informative. The itinerary was well planned by Mohamed, who was helpful in organising our travel plans because it was our first visit. We found the main cities of Fes, Marrikech and Quarsazate with the old cities to be particularly interesting. We also marvelled at the beautiful and varying countryside were fortunate to be able to see the mountains of the Atlas, fertile plains , the desert, the oasis , the seaside as well as historic towns. The highlight for us was the trip to the Saraha desert, a camel ride and a night in a camp site with our Bedouin carer, who cooked a fantastic meal under the stars. We also stayed in comfortable riads for the remainder of our trip. For a comprehensive and informative visit of this country, I would recommend this tour operator.

I felt in love with Morocco after this tour!!The service is unbelievable! Punctual and efficient. Ali (our tour guide) speak Italian very well, plus English, French, Spanish and I don't even remember what else! He always paid attention to what we want (Although I'm vegetarian I loved the food there).We took a tour in the Sahara Desert... amazing! We start from Marrakesh and Ali drove us until the south. The landscapes are amazing, I was speechless about the beauty I have found there!Really a great experience! We recently spent 14 days travelling through Morocco on the Grand Tour of Morocco with Ksour Voyages. We had a wonderful driver who took such good care of us - we stayed in beautiful riads (particularly good in Merrakech and Rabat) and also Kasbahs and 4-star hotels. The accommodation was really first class! The selection of towns and villages we visited was well chosen and we had a very good understanding of Morocco by the time it finished. We had a fabulous time in Telouet, Ali took us out walking across the varied landscapes showing us the heavily salted plains, walking up dry river beds to settle down under a lush green area surrounded by Almond trees to have a truely moroccan lunch. Cameleers Echou and Barbacoa guided our camel train 1 ½ hours to the desert camp where we feasted on a delicious Moroccan tagine beneath a scintillating star-filled sky. We also were hosted at the directeur’s family home in the high Atlas mountains where we were treated to a wonderful home cooked meal with his mother and two of his brothers. For an afternoon we experienced a way of life so different from our own. The home had a central courtyard and an adjacent courtyard with the family’s chickens, goats and cow—certainly not something you’ll see on your average commercial tour. Mohamed could not have been more amiable or adaptable to our needs or wishes. We were able to stop along the way whenever we wished. “There’s a billboard for a winery! Can we do a tasting of the local Gris de Gris and Boulaouane wines?” “Oh, look there are goats in those trees! Can we stop and pet them?” “Yes, whatever you wish,” was always the answer. Even though we usually toured from early in the morning until 5:30 to 7:00 each evening, Mohamed always made himself available for extra shopping trips or more sightseeing in the evenings. Although we chose an itinerary which involved a lot of driving, we came away feeling that we had seen most of this magnificent country.In Fez we bought mosaic tables and mirrors, hand painted china and clay tajines. (Heavy breakables!) They were shipped back to us in the States with no problems or breakage. We even found two extra plates and a bowl in our package. Mo called to make sure we were satisfied with the delivery. We were surprised to learn that his colleague, our local guide in Fez, Mohammed “Couscous” returned to the factory and personally inspected the shipping crates to make sure that all items were accounted for and properly packed. How’s that for service?At the end of our trip there was a glitch: When we arrived at the airport in Casablanca, we learned that Royal Air Maroc had cancelled our flight and we had been rebooked for the following day. Mohamed’s magical cell phone appeared, that web of contacts was consulted, and we shortly found ourselves on the way to a beachside hotel, three meals included, courtesy of Royal Air Maroc.Looking back now, trying to find one thing that I would have changed about this tour, one thing that could possibly have been done or handled better, my only wish is that my camel’s saddle had stirrups. I grew up riding horses on saddles with stirrups, and although the camel saddles had something akin to handlebars, I found it very difficult to ride a camel without stirrups. Mohamed promised that when I return, he would make certain that I would be provided with a camel saddle with stirrups.We found a tour of four to be an excellent balance of size and budget. Not too crowded, but more economical that traveling as a couple. So don’t hesitate! Grab a few friends to join you and book your trip of a lifetime with Ksour Voyages and Bisaha – “Relax and enjoy!”

Very well done private family tour. Our driver Soufiane was excellent - knowledgeable, well spoken, very safe, comfortable driving. The accomodations were OK for the trip. The scenery is beautiful and the stops were well chosen. The night in the dessert was great.

It was a traveling trip accompanied by Brahim, with whom we really enjoyed. Nice, competent and attentive. He is available to meet requests and cares that the customer is comfortable wherever he goes. The agency offers “typical” but adaptable trips. We, for example, started from Fez, we added Rabat and in the desert we did not use dromedaries. Once agreed the stages are quite fixed, good or bad even in restaurants, which are selected by the agency. Very nice riad in Fes, the desert luxury camp and accommodation in Ourzazate. Brahim accompanies car trips with many small curiosities and answers the most varied questions. For the road trip it was really valuable. Good at drivingWe had a great time!

A beautiful experience, an almost perfect trip but the trips are beautiful for this too. Our local agent, Ali, and the national agent, Sara, always present have built a beautifully balanced itinerary between nature and culture. The driver, Joseph, was the added value: his cheerfulness, his constant discreet presence made us feel protected and allowed us to more easily get in touch with this wonderful country and its welcoming people.

We have organized our tour in two days and the result has been very good!Our guide KAMAL welcomed us at the airport with a huge smile. He has been sharing great stories and cultural habit during the whole Trip and always with an eye to our need and desire. We will definitely come back to visit Marocco and it will be with Kamal.

My friends and I joined Adventure Morocco for our post-bar exam vacation and had a great time! Our tour guide Kamal picked us up from our Marrakech Airbnb on morning #1 and proceeded to drive us across the country for the next 4 days, where he dropped us off at our ferry terminal in Tangier. He was really friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to make sure we were satisfied with our experiences. The highlight of the trip for me was the night in the Sahara desert with the Berbers, complete with camel rides. Certainly not an experience to pass up in life! Kamal and the company did their best to navigate unexpected setbacks (e.g., flash floods that close the road to that night’s hotel or mountain road auto accidents). The one thing I would say is to take more dirham (local currency) than you think you need. You will absolutely see things you want to bring home, but almost no one takes credit cards and there aren’t many opportunities for currency exchange. If you want to travel Morocco, absolutely let AM help you have the trip you want!

We booked this tour way in advance of our trip (4 months) and chose this company based on excellent Trip Advisor reviews and the itinerary offered (which included sand boarding, which we definitely wanted to do). Prior to the review I confirmed that we would have an English speaking guide and via email it was confirmed that our driver would be our guide and explain to us about the culture and places we'll cross. We were picked up on time at our riad in Fes by Ali (the driver, not the owner of the company) for a 3 day/2 night private tour (myself and 25 year old daughter). Almost immediately it became apparent that our 'guide's' English was very limited. We had a long first day of driving (about 8 hours) and the conversation consisted of mainly one word statements on his part, pointing to such things as 'lake' or 'kasbah' (which I might have figured out on my own). I tried on several occasions to ask questions, but he could not understand me (his excuse at one point was that he did not understand my American English). Without any interaction it was quite a long boring day. We were dropped off at the desert camp for the evening, without any explanation of what was happening. The camp, btw, was great and I'll review separately. The next morning, while having a leisurely breakfast, we were told that our driver was waiting for us and we needed to immediately pack up, preventing me from even taking a morning shower. We loaded into our car and took off across the desert. At this point I asked what was happening with sand boarding and he said he'd have to call Ali, the owner of the company. Throughout the day (again without any conversation), there were various phone calls between him and someone and we got various stories about why there had been no sand boarding (broken board, no board, etc.). I asked to speak with Ali (the owner) and was told that he couldn't be reached. I said I'd email him that evening and eventually Ali got on the phone. I explained that the tour was really not that, but rather a serious of long day's drives without any narrative, and stops to accommodate our driver meeting friends for lunch (at one point we said we did not want lunch and were left waiting in the car for 40 minutes). Ali (owner) said he would meet us and take over the tour, which was much appreciated. He was quite engaging and for several hours that day and the next day we had an enjoyable tour. Loved the place we stayed in the Dades Valley (Chez Pierre), which I will also review separately. We had lunch the next day and paid up for the tour (getting a 'generous' discount of $20 for no sand boarding) and then Ali announced that he had a problem and needed to stay in the town where we were. Asked if we would mind the original Ali driving us back to Marrakech since there was not that much to see on the way. It was clear that this had been the plan all along as the original Ali showed up in 5 minutes. We felt we had no choice but to have the original Ali drive us back, so then proceeded to sit with him for another 4 hours of driving silence. It was quite disappointing that this was pulled on us without any advance notice as things had been going relatively well with owner Ali. Owner Ali did try to make amends, buying us a few trinkets, but we really did not come nearly 6,000 miles on this trip for this purpose, but rather to have a fun tour experience, which we did not get. This was not a cheap tour for us (nearly $1000 for 3 days), making it even more disappointing. Had we not booked so far in advance we could understand our not getting a guide who spoke good English, but even had he spoken English he was not a very congenial sort of guy. To say that this was a major disappointment of our limited time in Morocco would be an understatement. Sorry for the long review, but I have tried to be as objective as possible in providing this somewhat negative review. The three star rating is an averaged one, but most of the time I would say that the tour was probably more on a 2 star scale.

We had several problems during our trip to Morocco made between late December 2025 and early January 2026. We were 6 people, two families.The most serious problem was undoubtedly that we had an accident because of our driver, but he did not make the friendly finding, but preferred to give money to the other driver. Subsequently there were problems for two of us and Adventure Morocco Tours felt it would not make any statement regarding the incident, despite our numerous insistences.During the planning phase and then confirmed in the written program of the trip it was agreed that the driver should speak absolutely Italian, on the day of departure, at the airport, we discovered that he did not speak it.There were a lot of problems for the guided tour of Marrakesh; it had to be in the morning, then the day before they moved it to the afternoon, only we had already bought tickets for the gardens of Mayorelle and finally without our knowledge a guide arrived in the morning around 9.30, fortunately we had not yet left the riad.In Ait Ben Haddou we had to be accompanied by a local guide to talk about the history of this site, but we did not see any local guide, being included in the offer we had also paid for it.In some riads, namely the Riad Terra Bahia in Marrakech and the Luxury Riad Daddes in the Daddes Valley, we suffered a lot of cold at night because the rooms were not sufficiently heated. In the Riad Terra Bahia one room was on a roof terrace outside, the occupants of this room for the cold even slept with the wool hat on, I think there is no need to add more. Also in the bathrooms there was a window without glass, I let you imagine the temperature of the bathroom and therefore the impossibility of taking a shower. In our opinion some facilities should not be used in the cold months, especially since we had to have all luxury facilities.In one room of the Riad Luxury Dades the sink faucet malfunctioned, spraying from all sides, the shower mixer did not work well as you could not adjust it, so it came out either cold water or boiling water, finally the flush was broken and for the duration of the stay water flowed continuously into the toilet with the resulting noise in the room.According to the agreements we had with the agency in Marrakesh we should have had 3 double rooms, instead we had two triples.He had been warned that one of the members of our group was strongly lactose intolerant, but only following a reminder from us did a couple of Riads learn about it, the others continued to ignore it.The actual journey times for transfers were significantly higher than those indicated in the programme. This meant that some scheduled visits were skipped. A serious program should be calibrated to what you can really do and not indicate things that are not feasible.For all these reasons I do not recommend relying on this Agency
